Project Description

This course is a continuation of the Assistant Instructor training. Once a PADI AI has acquired the necessary fluency and experience, they can continue their training by taking an Open Water Scuba Instructor course. Together, these two modules will let them achieve instructor status (IDC) after passing an Instructor Exam.

Your training will cover:

  • The role of the media and prescriptive education
  • How to teach the “tables” (TPL PADI)
  • Adapted education
  • The PADI philosophy of lifelong learning
  • Business principles for the Instructor
  • Scuba Diver and Open Water Diver
  • The Adventures in Diving program
  • Specialty courses and Master Scuba Diver
  • Rescue Diver
  • Dive Master
  • Diver retention programs.
  • The prerequisites are the same as the Instructor Development Course.
